Treadmill Control . The 3 C's

We’re taking a new approach to associate selling features with the introduction of the 3C’s. Because the 3C’s represent what a consumer needs to know and would like to know about a particular product when shopping. As you flip through this book, you’ll notice all key points are grouped by Comfort, Control and Convenience. You can also introduce the selling feature of Horizon products through the way of 3C’s.

 


A treadmill’s motor, motor control system and console will put users in control of their workouts.

 

VCS

A newly designed digital motor drive system; digital signal interchange between drive components improves precision and reliability for the entire system. DigitalDrive provides quick speed adjustment and reduce control errors.

Heart Rate Control is a self-regulated program; users can specify the target heart rate they wish to reach during their workout according to their personal health status and needs. The console will then automatically adjust the speed or incline of the treadmill to keep the user’s heart rate within the desired range.

 

Tip:
Target Heart Rate is a percentage of your maximum heart rate. Target Heart Rate will vary for each individual depending on age, current level of conditioning, and personal fitness goals. Exercise heart rate should range from 55% to 60% of your maximum heart rate for fat consumption, 65% - 70% for endurance training. For elder or cardiac users, under 50% of maximum heart rate should be suggested according to the secure issue. As a point of reference,
we use the predicted maximum heart rate formula of (220 minus age) to determine your heart rate training zone.

 

VCS

eTRAK is a Performance Tracker technology that retains your workout details and provides feedback of your choice. For example, the workout time could be monitored and accumulated by weekly total or monthly total.

 

Tip:
You can set your personal exercise goals in eTrak to track your progress and manage your health. For example, you might plan to run 100km in one month.

WeightManagement will help you to burn fat with the highest efficiency by controlling workout levels to suit your needs. This feature will display how many calories you have burned or how much weight you have lost.

 

Tip:
The sum of body fat and carbohydrates expended is the total amount of weight lost through exercise. With eTRAK you can check how much weight you have lost over a week or month.

 

 

VCS

Ergo WheelAn additional and highly convenient option for setting speeds and inclines levels; with this control option there’s no need for button pushing while you are running.

 

 

 

Tip:
You can use your thumb to operate the control wheel while holding the heart sensor handles. Our competitors' machines require the customer to hold the heart sensors with both hands to measure their heart rate. This means they can't change the running machine's speed and inclination while the measurement is taking place. Our ErgoWheel feature eliminates this problem altogether.
